The APU Experience is the best way to explore all that APU has to offer. Specially geared for new and transferring undergraduate students, this open house event will provide participants with a first-hand look at campus, classes, housing, and the APU community.
There is absolutely no cost to attend*, but registration for this event is limited. See the registration options below for more details.

- 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM: Check-In
- 8:45 AM – 9:00 AM: Welcome Speech
- 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Campus Life/Res Life
- 9:45 AM – 10:30 AM: Session A (Mock Classes)
- 10:45 AM – 11:30 AM: Session B (Mock Classes)
- 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM: Campus Tours
- 12:15 PM – 12:45 PM: Student Panel
- 12:45 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch and Closing
- 2:00 PM – Guest Speaker: Dallas Seavey!
Lunch on day of event provided at no cost.
Visitor is responsible for travel to and from campus and any lodging needs outside of the scheduled event. APU is not responsible for costs associated with air or land-based travel, airport transfers, or any fees associated therewith.
The Open House 3-day option includes all that comes with the 1-day option, plus a weekend full of adventure both on and off campus. Participants will be paired with an on-campus host with whom they will spend two nights in campus housing and attend on-campus events. Special off-campus events will be coordinated and led by Admissions Department and Student Life.
All meals and lodging are provided. Visitors are responsible for travel to and from campus and any lodging needs outside of the scheduled event. APU is not responsible for costs associated with air or land-based travel, airport transfers, or any fees associated therewith. Registrants for the 3-day option will be required to provide additional documentation, including parental/legal guardian consent, prior to the event and must relay travel options to the Office of Admissions upon request. Registration limited to 10 participants. To participate students must come from out of state or live outside Southcentral Alaska region.
Early Honors Open House
You are invited to attend Alaska Pacific University’s open house event, Early Honors Open House (dates to be determined), in the Carr-Gottstein Academic Center for activities designed specifically to show you why APU is Alaska’s top choice for higher education.

This is a networking event where you will meet APU staff and faculty, learn more about our unique program opportunities, and enhance your connection to the APU community.

The Priority Sessions dates are undetermined at this time. Advisory sessions, financial aid sessions, housing information sessions, and campus tours will be scheduled throughout the day and lunch will be provided.
