The Center for Climate and Health

Climate Change and Community Health

APU’s Center for Climate and Health (CCH) assists communities and helps them to better understand the impacts of climate change and how to adapt in healthy ways. We provide technical support and guidance to identify, plan, and respond to climate-driven community health impacts. We do this through developing climate and health assessments, providing technical assistance, and offering education to the public through trainings.

LEO Network is often thought of as the eyes, ears, and voice of the changing environment. Here members share unusual environmental events that help us understand our changing world. Please join us and contribute your observations or news articles. To learn more, visit our website.

APU CCH works collaboratively with the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) Center for Climate and Health. Move information about the ANTHC center can be found here.
