The Nuna Center for Indigenous Research, Learning, and Creativity in Anchorage, Alaska, weaves together APU’s distinctive approach to education—integrating immersive, land-based, and community-centered learning—with a focus on Indigenous Knowledge and creativity. Guided by values of learning through service and collaboration, the center engages students, knowledge holders, and community members in meaningful research, education, and creative projects grounded in Indigenous perspectives.

Nuna is land; Nunaat is homeland.
