Community Engagement

Indigenous-Centered Engagement

At the Nuna Center, community engagement is rooted in a commitment to one another and the world around us. It involves sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and embracing innovative, non-traditional ways of connecting and learning together. Indigenous-centered engagement values creativity as a bridge for storytelling, expression, and relationship-building while prioritizing slow, intentional collaboration and ethical, reciprocal connections with communities. Through art, storytelling, and shared learning, the center creates spaces for transformative connections that honor and uplift Indigenous perspectives.
