Gymnasium


Our newly renovated full-court gymnasium serves as the premier gathering space on campus for a wide range of community events.  Whether it is a quick pick-up ball game at lunch or the 400-person Blue and Gold Gala, our gymnasium is the heart of our indoor recreational facilities.

Saltwater Pool


Our 6-lane, saltwater pool is the site for many types of activities at APU, ranging from water exercise classes, teen/adult swim lessons, lifeguard and swim instructor training, family swimming, and recreational events. This is a shallow pool with a stair or ladder entrance, the deep end is 4 ft, and the shallow end is 3 ft 6 in.

Fees & Passes


Semester Dates4 months of unlimited visits

  • Summer Semester: May – August
  • Fall Semester: September – December
  • Spring Semester: January – April

Family passes are valid for four direct family members, in addition to the pass holder. Each additional family member is $10. Family members must have their full names on file. The family pass is not interchangeable to other individuals who are not on file.

*Senior passes are for individuals aged 62+

  • Any unused 10-visit passes expire after two years from the date of purchase.
  • Each person using the facilities must be registered, agree to, and sign the APU Waiver of Liability.
  • Passes are non-transferable and must be purchased individually for each person.
  • Refunds are given on a case-by-case basis. If you are seeking a refund on a pass, please get in touch with a facility manager.

  • Senior passes are for individuals aged 62+. Child passes are for children aged 16 -.
  • Everyone in the Recreation facilities on campus must be checked in at the front desk and have a current waiver on file.
  • No street shoes, food, chewing gum or beverages besides water on the pool deck, gymnasium, climbing wall or fitness center.
  • A parent or guardian must always supervise children under the age of 14.
  • A parent or guardian must have signed a waiver for their child if they are under the age of 18.
  • Please be respectful of our family-friendly environment.
  • Please read and obey all posted signs for the different recreation facilities on campus.
