Moseley Sports Center

Move, Play & Explore at APU

From swimming and court sports to disc golf, cross-country skiing, biking and walking, Moseley Sports Center offers students countless ways to stay active, connect with others and enjoy the outdoors. The saltwater pool, pickleball and basketball courts, and campus disc golf course provide recreation right on campus, while the Mahaffey Trail System begins just outside the doors. With the Chugach Mountains as a backdrop and Anchorage just a step away, students have plenty of opportunities to get outside, explore and enjoy all that Alaska has to offer.

Fitness, Recreation and Events

Moseley Sports Center is a place to move, recharge, connect and come together. For APU students, it offers everyday opportunities to stay active, from swimming and fitness to pickleball, basketball, swim classes and massage services. APU students, staff and faculty can take advantage of free individual recreation passes, with discounted family passes also available. For the wider APU community and Anchorage residents, Moseley is also a place to gather, get active and take part in events throughout the year.

From a quick workout between classes to a community celebration, blanket toss or the annual Blue & Gold Benefit Auction, Moseley brings people together in ways that extend beyond the gym. It’s a space where students, neighbors and the APU community can stay active, gather together and enjoy being part of campus life.
